Find Your People and Places

We know this is a big place and we are intentional about helping you connect!
Starting Point is all about helping you find your people and places at Eastview.

Normal Campus

Starting Point at the Normal Campus is a 3-week series. We hope you can join us for 3 consecutive weeks, in person or online, to help you find your people and places at Eastview. Highlights include a "Taste of the Cafe", a spiritual gifts test, a "Voluntour" behind the scenes tour of the campus, and more.
You will want to attend the 9:00 am service and then you'll have time to grab a cup of coffee and join us in the Starting Point Room to begin by 10:30 am (lower level, next to the Family Room). If you have kids to check in, you can check them in for both services.
If you can't make 1 of the 3 consecutive Sundays of Starting Point, you are welcome to join us and jump in at any time for the weeks that you are available. If you miss 1 of the 3 sessions, you can make it up another month! You also have the opportunity to join us for a combination of in person and hybrid depending on your availability! We can't wait to meet you!

Baptism

At Eastview, we believe that baptism is an outward expression of an inward reality of Christ's work in our lives. With baptism by immersion, we believe it is a beautiful picture of the death, burial and resurrection of Jesus Christ. For more information about baptism, please register to attend our next Starting Point.

Scheduling Your Baptism

We love to have baptisms during our Sunday services so our church family can celebrate with you! If you prefer a more intimate setting, we can schedule your baptism before or after a Sunday service. To schedule your baptism, contact involvement@eastview.church.

Baptism Sundays

Numerous times throughout the year we have Baptism Sundays. On these Sundays anyone who wishes to accept Jesus and be obedient through baptism by immersion can come forward and be baptized. Often, these are spontaneous decisions, but if you'd like to schedule to be part of our next baptism Sunday, please register at Events.

Eastview Kids - Family Baptism Class

If you have a child that is asking questions about baptism, we encourage you to attend one of our great family baptism classes. These classes are held once a quarter and are taught by one of our Eastview Kids pastors to help your child better understand what baptism is and what it means to follow Jesus. It is intended for parents to attend with your child. Please register for a Family Baptism Class at Events.
