Practicing Jesus All Church Study
Following Jesus is so much more than a one-time decision to get to heaven. It’s actually a relationship here on earth that takes focus, intentionality, and willingness to change and grow. Beginning on September 15, we will begin a 12 week study called Practicing Jesus that will help each of us experience and train in the life-giving practices of Jesus. Join us as we look at what it means to follow Jesus. We are asking everyone to come along for the journey!
Your next step to prepare for the study is to find your community! Maybe it’s restarting your small group or maybe it’s joining a new one. Go to one of the kiosks in the Atrium for more information or to sign up for a group. You can also get more information about the study and sign up for a group in the Practicing Jesus landing page.

The Forgotten Initiative is a non-profit organization and local partner with Eastview whose focus is on helping churches support foster care in our community. A need has been identified where childcare is needed for foster families who attend a monthly training session at a local church. If you (and/or your family or small group) would be interested in volunteering to be part of a sign up tree to watch the children while foster parents attend the meeting (1-1.5 hours), please contact Jason Sniff, jsniff@eastview.church and he will help you take a next step.
Info Center Volunteer Opportunity
When a person walks into a church service, we never know their back story...did their spouse divorce them this week? Did a loved one die yesterday? Did they get fired and are coming to see if God has anything to say about life...or are they feeling suicidal today? Greeting and welcoming people is such a blessing and opportunity!
We are in need of volunteers for the 2nd and 4th Sunday's at the 11:00am service, both upper and lower levels, and for 5th Sunday's. Contact Frank Beaty for more information.
